AURIC MATTE CREME LIPSTICK – REVIEW

1. FORMULA

I prefer matte lipstick colours. However, liquid ones are often too drying for my lips. As a result, creme matte lipsticks come in handy because they offer an excellent finish while still moisturising. Auric Beauty lipsticks are made with shea butter, jojoba oil, almond oil, and vitamin E. All of these ingredients are very good for your skin, and at the end of the day, your lips will thank you for this nourishing formula.
2. SHADES
Creme Matte lipsticks by Auric Beauty come in 8 versatile shades
Toasted Almond, Bourbon, and Zen Sangria are in the orange her family, perfect for summer and everyday muted look.
Exotic Wine and Matilda are the purple ones of the range.
If you want to go for a bold statement, Exotic Wine is the shade. While Matilda is a soft nude-y purple shade for daily wear.
Then you have the pinks South Sangria and Pink Glacier.
Both are very bright and striking matte lipstick colours that will suit any skin tone. And lastly, no lipstick collection is complete without a red shade.
Bloody Mary is on the brighter side of the red but doesn’t overpower your look. They all are very pigmented and don’t take more than a couple of swipes to reach the complete opacity.
3. DURABILITY
The creamy formulation does have pros and cons. While they feel comfortable on the lips, it can be hard to keep them on for long. Eating, drinking or biting can easily strip the colour away, and you have to touch it up throughout the day.
Though, in the 8-hour wear test, I had to touch up only thrice. That’s pretty great for creme matte lipsticks. Otherwise, it stayed on my lips all day and didn’t bleed (spread) onto my chin.

Yay or Nay?
A big yay for the Creme Matte Lipstick by Auric Beauty! The shade range was incredible and everything I need in my essential makeup collection. I can wear them for parties or everyday work. It has a very nourishing formula that keeps lips moisturised, so it is easier to wear them all day long without feeling chapped. The colour pay-off and matte finish looked fantastic. So, I highly recommend you to give it a try.
